I chose an arch bridge because there is no horizontal stress but rather all of the stress goes into the ends of it making it stronger with weight on top of it, it all comes done to the type of material being used.
I had to cut down on the amount of wood I used because there was no way I could have one joint with 9 connection on it. It took around 9 hours to build the whole thing, I cut the ends of each piece of wood so it would fit perfectly. Then the arches kept bending the bridge upwards so i put the piece on the bottom-middle so it would not bend at all.
